COTAD has recently launched a Directory of Capstones in Occupational Therapy (DCOT) with the support of two anonymous donors. This directory will house a list of Occupational Therapy capstones that are voluntarily submitted and reviewed by our team to prevent spam or inappropriate content. Primarily, this directory is meant to reduce growing issues with capstones related to:

• Repetition of topics

• Over-surveying marginalized groups

• Superficial exploration of complex challenges

However, this directory can also be a source of examples and ideas for students as they develop their own capstone projects. We hope this will guide and deepen future capstone projects completed in OT. We will initially be working to recruit students whose projects are related to COTAD’s mission, however we are open to general capstones being submitted to reduce these same issues for other topics and areas of interest.
