Your COTAD Chapter Journey Begins Here

The process for establishing a COTAD Chapter will require a minimum of a one year commitment from all participants, including the Chapter Chair and Faculty Mentor(s).

To become a Chapter and meet with COTAD leaders to begin your Chapter, you must complete the following steps in order:

Complete the “Interested New Chapter” form

Conduct an independent needs assessment survey with the students and faculty at your institution and complete the “Needs Assessment” form

Create one personalized chapter goal

Use information collected from needs assessment

Choose your national goals and confirm your personalized chapter goal

Create your chapter’s email

This email will be used when you set up your COTAD account

Submit “Establishing New Chapter” form

This is where you’ll submit your Chapter email and acknowledge the statements as part of the commitment agreement

Submit “Chair Information" and “Faculty Liaison Information" forms

Create an account using your new COTAD Chapter email on COTAD’s website and pay dues

Dues are $100/year and can be set up recurring or non-recurring
