Make your AOTA20 experience matter! Join COTAD leaders and members in serving a local nonprofit and educating community partners about the value of OT.

Our goal is to promote diversity and inclusion by providing opportunities for AOTA conference attendees to engage with and impact the local communities in person-centered and meaningful ways. Your participation in the community engagement project will enable our team to provide self-care supplies in the form of "OT Wellness Kits" to the residents of Rosie’s Place, a local women’s shelter in the Boston area providing safety, security, and resources to women in need (visit Booth #345 in the Expo Hall).

The COTAD Chapter that donates the most kits (in the form of money and/or self-care/wellness items) will get a shoutout on the COTAD Instagram page, recognition in the COTAD Courier, and have their school name displayed on the COTAD booth in the Expo Hall at Conference! (COTAD Chapter Challenge ends March 5th, 2020).

Additional items will be collected Thursday and Friday during Conference. All kits will be delivered to Rosie's place Friday, March 27th at 2PM.

Donate self-care or wellness items that will be assembled into wellness kits and distributed to the guests at Rosie’s Place. Alternately, become an event sponsor or give a cash donation in the amount of your choice!
